About Me
I am a self-taught artist painting since my early teens. I started to sculpt in the late 1990's after I retired from the computer industry and have found my forte in the 3-dimension. I have spent hours and hours studying the bone and muscle structure of my animals and my people, and carry out extensive research before starting each piece, so as to ensure realism, authenticity, and quality. I have shown my work in local and national exhibitions and it can be found in private and corporate collections throughout the U.S. I am thankful to the many patrons who have supported me.
I feel I am blessed with an innate talent for artistic expression and although I pursue music, drawing, painting, and other forms of art, I am now primarily a sculptor. I love the additional challenge that the third dimension presents, the challenge to create a work of art that must be aesthetically pleasing when viewed from all angles ‐ the top, the bottom, the back, the front, and the sides. It almost seems that since I began to sculpt, my passion for creating has grown even stronger; it's as if I no longer have a choice; I am compelled to sculpt!
